Count Down to the D-Day in TAWASCO

TAWASCO: Internal Brand Assessment Survey

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Effective Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Services (E-WASH) program seeks to improve urban water and sanitation service delivery by strengthening the governance, financial and technical viability of six state water boards (SWBs) in Nigeria.
Creating good corporate governance in SWBs is essential to increase access to sustainable water services. They must have autonomous, accountable, and transparent management and strengthened corporate governance with clear priorities for effective and inclusive service provision. To reflect these, the “new” agency’s corporate identity/brand must be reviewed, assessed and improved through phases of corporate identity/brand development activities.
One of these key activities is the strategic brand analysis (using internal and external brand perception survey). The brand audit/perception assessment will assess the effectiveness of the SWBs branding and communications approaches/methods. The review will include an audit of current internal and external communications work) and how they add to/subtract from the SWBs brand perception.
